Submission rules
What EDM KC needs before an event goes live: accurate date and venue, a 3:4 flyer, lineup, ticket link and age policy.
1. Electronic music in the KC metro
Events must be electronic-leaning (house, techno, bass, dubstep, trance, psytrance, melodic, hardcore, DnB) and take place in the Kansas City metro, including Lawrence and Independence.
2. Accurate date, time and venue
Start time, doors and venue must be confirmed before publishing. Update the listing as soon as anything changes — saved fans are notified automatically.
3. Flyer art at 3:4
Upload portrait artwork, ideally 1200 × 1600px, JPG or PNG. Avoid text crammed near the edges — cards crop tight on mobile.
4. Real lineup and set times
List the artists actually booked. Publish set times once locked, or mark them TBA rather than guessing.
5. Tickets and price
Include a working ticket or RSVP link, advance and door prices, or mark the event free.
6. Age policy and entry notes
State the age restriction and any re-entry, ID or bag rules so attendees aren't turned away at the door.
7. No spam or duplicates
One listing per event. Listings that are misleading, unrelated to the scene, or repeatedly inaccurate are removed.
